Greener Grass - I. But Be Certain
There was a time I once..
When I was able to believe real deep, trust so hard,
understand so little but be certain -
That all we can do is choose precisely and hope for the
best.
What is our actions beyond misinterpretated mistakes
speech is wearing short where actions lie sparingly outnumbered
Today I choose to say no to disregard
Say no to bittered envy,
No to usless chitter.chatter,
No to labeled truths found in us the blinded youth,
No to decorated diplomas,
No to cancer awareness,
No to greener grass in other areas,
Because I stopped believing when I forgot about what human
truth was.
I stopped believing too long ago and I forgot to question
And it’s when I forgot about my own damn dreams..
It’s when I forgot
about being
human.
