I've been scared of silence,
ever since you claimed the quiet sound.
I've also been scared of contact,
due to it's consequences.
But I am no longer afraid of trains.
and walking in the crosswalk.
But I am scared of myself alone.
And what the lonely mind does to matter.
I have seen the world change with the wind,
but, what about the water?
Where did wonder go?
Or have I forgotten it's face?
