So hmmmmm... where did I leave off when recapping me life for the last few months? We are now in the middle of winter, in cold Minnesota and I have a boyfriend. Well as the cold weather comes to an end, so does my first relationship. I have never really ever liked winter, it’s not like I enjoy summer that much either… personally I enjoy a good day in spring or fall. Not too hot or cold, just right. With the prospect of a new season right around the corner the one act play officially comes to a close and our schools spring play “Radium Girls” and the musical “The Fantasticks” starts up. Radium Girls was a very challenging play, especially in regard to the style of the play and the bunch of kids we had to work with. It delved deep in to the moving case of Grace Fryer and friends all dial painters who suddenly fall ill and start dying due to radium in their dial paint. The play follows Grace fighting for her voice to be heard in court as a women in the 1920’s. The show was really intriguing and very much a growing experience for the whole cast as actors.
Exerting great force; having effectiveness and influence; strong
