Few Chapters Further

My day was a really nice change to what I am usually used to. Instead of slepping in till eleven, then wasting my day away untill practice later at night - I got up at 9:30 to babysit my brother while my mom ran some errands, then I went tanning, had lunch, sat in the car while my mom ran into maurices, then went to Target where my little brother had a complete freak out because we wouldn't get him a Thomas the train toy. I hate it when kids that you are associated with throw a tantrum in a public place because while I have no possible control over how they act and when they will stop screaming, I feel as if every single person is staring at me. They all just walk past and stare... I feel like a complete fool and I am not even the one screaming! Well after the little fiasco in Target we headed off to the grocery store. Just another regular trip to the grocery until i found this little boxed meal. The label reads "Tasty Italian Wrap" - it looked just so good, so I had to get it.

Here is the extent of what was inside (minus the pop) -

At first i was a litte bit scared, rembering my last occurence with the gryo. Who knows... the label stating that it was a tasty italian wrap could be misleading me just like the waitress at Fayze's. But after taking a bite I knew that it wasnt bad! The bolagna was a little overpowering at times and the sun dried tomatos were a little sweet in some bites. But for a measly $2.77 I was impressed!

The rest of my day was pretty low key, got a few chapters further in the book im reading, cleaned my room, and watched part of the Top Chef marathon. It was nice to not have practice, for once.

I also got around to painting the canvas that has been siting around in my closet.

At first I was going to re-create the baloon house from Pixar's recent film UP but once I finished painting the sky, I moved on to the balloons which were much harder then I thought. It ended up looking bad, so I painted it white and started over and ended up with this. It really is a depiction of what is going on at my mind at points.

I miss always having something to do, I miss seeing my friends regularly, I miss alot of things... but i am not yet ready to head back to school. I am simply trying to find the right balance that works for me.

I think an Italian wrap is not a Gyro by any means.
