A Life Like His

Wow, what a day! Today is one of the main examples of why I love where I am at in life right now. A day filled with art, freindship, meeting new people, discussion and just living in the moment.

So I am proud to announce that my wish list from Target (in previous post) now has one less item on it: today I went and picked out the super cool pair of slim cut jeans. I just had to jump on the oppurtunity because they only had one more in my size and I dread oredering things offline. I am not really fan of Target jeans either, which is why when I saw these I had to get them!

Around lunch time I revisited the Target and picked out the camera I have been waiting for forever!!! I was much to impacient to wait for them to get one in black, so I settled for the blue. The camera is brilliant!!! For $250 it takes photos like a professional camera. It has every feature I will need at a decent price. I have been waiting for so long to get a camera, and I just love my new Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W290. I have been monkeying around with it, and here are some shots I took today.

My friend told me about a game going on at 8 of capture the flag dowtown style which I was game for! We headed over to the parking lot of Merchants Bank, waited for people to show up, picked teams, and then started the game. About 18 poeple showed up and it was a complete blast. Met a guy named Kevin, who we asked to play while he was skateboarding past us. When the cops came over at around 10:45 the game quickly ended. So we spent most of the night hanging out down by the levey sitting in the grass. It was kinda chilly so we relocated to Perkins where we played the boardgame Risk. A very elaborate game i have found. My parents were freaking out when I wasnt home by 1:30 so I left mid game.

Whenever I hang out with a friend of mine, i am always astounded by what he is doing with his life. Its not as if he is famous, or striking it rich... all he is doing is living his life the way he wants to. This past year he hitch hiked to Memphis Tennessee and back. Thats like three states away, just hitch hiking! Next month he plans on train jumping for awhile, just to see where it gets him. keep in mind not only is he living the life he wants, but he has these great standards, philosophes and stories. I would give anything to live my life the way he is not train jumping or hitch hiking but just living my own life. He makes me question my standards and my every day routine. Which I believe is helping me step by step to live a life like his.

I have a feeling like tomorow (actually today) is going to be great, I just have this feeling inside of me.

You didn't die. We stopped the game after Adam's phone was remembered to be back by the levee. That was about 4:30.... No one lost. It was getting really interesting, too.
