"So whats new?" (me)
"Well not much, except the economy" (freind of mine)
"...the economy?" (me)
"Well its not like its something new or anything, but it seems like my life is just revolving around the fact that we have a crappy economy. On friday nights I think to myself 'hey it would be a great night to go to the movies' but then I remember and say 'oh yeah... the economy' And its just not with the movies, one day it will be about going shopping and the next will be the debate over a sit down diner or fast food." (friend of mine)
Truely I completly understand what my friend is going through. You know it is bad when you have to revolve your life around a depressing factor in the world.
I stepped out of practice today for Once Upon A Mattress (which I had biked to) only to discover that it was raining. I was like come on earth give me a break and anyways whats up with this weather? One day it is a beautiful day, the next it is cloudy, damp and raining. When the rain let up about half way home, I got over the fact that i was wet and enjoyed the ride home.
Tomorow i am hopefully going to: attend a student council meeting at perkins, babysit my brother, hang out with a friend that is leaving town thursday, go for a jog and finally paint the canvas that has been sitting in my closet for who knows how long.
P.S. I really want to be casted as Willy Wonka for our fall musical.
